Task Scheduler Tasks Corrupted on downgrading back to Windows 7 from Windows 10

If you downgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 7, you’ll see that few of your tasks are “corrupted”. Task Scheduler will throw a “The Task X is corrupt or has been tampered with.” I poked around a bit on the internet and the only solution seems to be to delete them to make the errors go away.

I’m not sure if it’s only limited to non-Microsoft stuff, but almost all my non-Windows stuff as Automatic PC maintenance set by my Laptop OEM, my own ITH launching task, are gone. And I won’t bother to investigate.

It’s just a small heads-up if someone was thinking to do Windows 7 –> Windows 10 –> Windows 7 through the “Restore Windows 7” (or w/e it’s called in 10). You’ll lose (likely) all your custom scheduled tasks.

Irritating.
